Unattainable by Madeline Sheehan
Blurb:
Warning: This is not a virtuous and tender love story. It’s chaotic, ruthless, and tragic. This story takes love and kills its innocence, steals away the pure moments, and crushes the hearts of the broken. A story born in childhood, tying one girl to one boy, leads to a destructive path—that hurts more than it doesn’t, that shatters more than it heals—testing the love that binds the two through a lifetime.
Tegen Matthews is the daughter of Dorothy Kelley, a club whore in the Hell’s Horsemen. A plain little girl, Tegen falls into the gritty world of the motorcycle club. When she meets a sweet, caring boy, she embraces the warmth and affection he shows her. Cage West is the son of the president of the Hell’s Horsemen. Tall and blond with deep brown eyes, as he grows up Cage realizes the power of his dimpled smile and smooth drawl. With one chance encounter, Tegen becomes forever tied to Cage. Following is a wayward journey that is filled with regrets, mistakes, and heartache, pulling at the threads that hold them together. Cage and Tegen fight hard but love harder, and in the end, what matters is where the journey takes one girl and one boy, who have been twined with one another since the beginning.
This is Tegen and Cage’s story.
Love doesn’t erase a broken heart, and it sure doesn’t change people. But no matter how old, how flimsy, how frayed the rope of love is, it keeps you tethered to the people you love.
Review:
This is the third book in the undeniable series, Madeline's writing is amazing she absolutely draws you into their world and makes you feel everything the characters are going through every emotion they have you feel. This series seriously gets better with each book she writes!
If you have read Madeline's first two books in this series you know exactly what I mean when I say this book had it all, Death, Rape, love and true laugh out loud moments especially between Cox and Kammi!
This is the story of Cage and Tegan , after everything that Tegan had been through with her mum the last thing she wanted was to be involved in club life. She had always loved Cage who is Deuces son. There story beings when she first meets him, she is eight and he was eleven,
'I'll always remember the first time I laid eyes on him; the bane of my entire existence."
"The older I grew, the more I grew to love him until I no longer looked to him as the one stable figurehead in my life, but instead loved him with an intensity that at times bordered on madness.'
Tegan hands over her V card to him, she tells him she loves him and his reply is simply "It ain't like that for me, baby" Tegan is absolutely devastated and ends up going her own way and becoming a very bitter person she has a real kick ass girl attitude and can totally give as much as she gets!!
But boy when these two do get back together WOW they fight, they fall out, they love but it works for them.
"You were never a club slut, Tegan," He said. " Not once did I ever fuckin' think that. To me, you were always D's little girl. You were family and, Teacup, you were my best friend"
'A string of eight little words, eight very stupid, insignificant words that meant absolutely nothing to Cage and absolutely everything to me, Get on the back of my bike, Tegan'
But as in all Madeline's books the drama that happens that causes them to be torn apart seriously causes you to wonder will they or wont they get back together.....?
We also get to meet Dirty and Ellie in this story and WOW was this story one that I was totally expecting but so totally loved !!! Dirty was so broken and damaged after everything he had been through (I'm saying nothing more on this subject without spoiling it for anyone) that it was absolutely fantastic.
It was nice to see all the other Hells horsemen make an appearance throughout this story and continue to see parts of there future after there stories.
I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the next book in the series Unbeloved which is the story of Hawk, Dorothy and Jase.
If after the warning you think you can handle the hells horsemen then I highly recommend this series!!!
